María Elena Martinez was a hardworking housekeeper and independent cleaner whose life of sacrifice, dignity, and resilience laid the foundation for everything M&M represents today. Though she completed only the third grade, her unwavering work ethic, integrity, and commitment to service shaped the values that would later become the soul of the company.
Inspired by her mother’s legacy, Arminda E. Martinez-Menendez transformed lived experience into leadership. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and founded M&M Maintenance & Cleaning Service, LLC, building a woman- and minority-owned company grounded in professionalism, compliance, and respect for people.
Zeeky, María Elena’s loyal companion, symbolizes unconditional love, perseverance, and the quiet strength that carried this family through life’s hardest moments. Together, they represent the emotional foundation behind M&M.

Arminda E. Martinez-Menendez is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of M&M Maintenance & Cleaning Service, LLC, a woman- and minority-owned company serving commercial properties across Southern California.
A first-generation entrepreneur, Arminda combines lived experience with formal education. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience in commercial cleaning, porter services, facilities support, and workforce management.
Her leadership approach emphasizes compliance, professionalism, and people-first operations, ensuring that both clients and employees are treated with respect and accountability. Arminda is a certified Workloading Specialist and a California DGS-certified Small Business, leading M&M with a strong understanding of labor standards, operational efficiency, and long-term partnership building.
